Client Overview
PolyPump is a UK-based distributor and manufacturer specialising in industrial pumps and fluid handling solutions, serving industries such as chemical processing, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, and water treatment.
They represent many leading global brands and, for over 30 years, have provided products and consultation to customers including Transport for London, NHS, Taylor Wimpey, Rolls Royce, IKEA, the Ministry of Defence, and various Water Authorities.
The company is known for its technical expertise, customised solutions, and fast delivery, with an emphasis on customer support and after-sales service.
Project Scope
While already a leader in their field, PolyPump is a business that has no desire to stand still. With expanded product lines and services, there was a feeling that the existing brand did not accurately reflect their growth and ambition. Even when a company is successful, customer perceptions can lag behind its true capabilities. PolyPump felt that rebranding would help realign perception with reality.
Industrial sectors are traditionally conservative, but even here, there’s a growing expectation to present a more modern, tech-forward, and user-friendly identity. The world PolyPump inhabits is competitive, and the team knew that a refreshed brand could help differentiate from competitors and stand out in a crowded market.
The rebrand project they commissioned Fourfeet to undertake was to support their next growth stage with a distinctive visual identity, a customer solutions-driven website, and a full suite of marketing communications collateral.
Branding
Our watchwords for the PolyPump rebrand were ‘Minimalist and Professional’ and ‘Industrial yet Modern’ – no unnecessary details, just clean and effective branding.
The new logo uses a bold, sans-serif typeface to convey strength, reliability, and professionalism – ideal for an industrial brand – and to ensure clarity across different applications.
The icon – using negative space to create an abstract double ‘P’ form – was designed to stand alone as a recognisable brand mark on smaller items like machinery labels or digital icons, and to ensure recognition even when separated from the full wordmark.
The design is modular and geometric – symbolising the mechanical nature of industrial pumps and fluid handling systems – with its component parts able to be deconstructed for use as graphic elements across wider marketing communications.
A combination of colours was selected that balanced PolyPump’s desire to represent trust and stability (deep blue) while speaking of their energy and innovation (electric blue), sustainability, and efficient solutions (vibrant green).
The combination of these ingredients successfully delivered the modern and dynamic visual identity that PolyPump sought.
Website Design and build
The PolyPump website has a clean, professional, and industrial-focused design, reflecting its expertise in pumps and fluid handling solutions. The colour scheme follows the brand identity, coupling deep and electric blues with vibrant green, reinforcing trust and innovation.
The website’s comprehensive navigation is intuitive, with a sensibly structured menu to categorise products, industries, and services. This, coupled with an effective product search and filter system, was essential to success, allowing users to quickly find the right solution for their needs.
Technical details, datasheets, and specifications are also presented in a clear, digestible format, ensuring easy access for engineers and procurement teams. A contact form, technical pump flow calculators, RFQ (Request for Quote) option, and live chat deliver enhanced user engagement.
The design is responsive, ensuring seamless functionality across desktop, tablet, and mobile. Overall, the website prioritises usability, industry authority, and customer support, making it an invaluable tool for clients and partners.
Results and Impact
The PolyPump team is delighted. Since launch, they report increased engagement, partnership and deal-making enquiries, vastly improved website traffic, and significant sales upturn.
Arguably as importantly, the team is proud to present themselves in a way they feel now fully reflects their current business operation and future vision. We continue to partner with PolyPump on delivering their wider communications strategy and awareness building.
“Working with Fourfeet was an absolute game-changer. They didn’t just refresh our look—they completely transformed it.
From the very first meeting, it was clear they understood our vision. They were creative, strategic, and knew exactly how to bring our brand to life and make us stand out in a crowded market.
The new website is sleek, easy to navigate, and perfectly aligned with our goals. We’ve seen increased engagement, loads more traffic, and honestly, we’re kind of obsessed with it.
If you’re looking for a team to transform your presence on and offline, make Fourfeet your go-to.
An absolute pleasure and a massive thank you.”
