Client Overview
Chaucer are a leading specialty (re)insurance group. Headquartered in London, they employ over 500 people, including more than 120 specialist underwriters. They work with brokers, coverholders and clients to protect and support business activities around the world. Their services are accessed both through Lloyd’s of London and the company markets.
Project Scope
Fourfeet has been Chaucer’s partner of choice for over 20 years – spanning three HQ office moves and two comprehensive rebrands.
The first rebrand, back in 2007 was motivated by a need to clearly differentiate the core Chaucer PLC business from its standalone Chaucer Insurance car insurance business. The rebrand was also scheduled to mark an HQ move and support general brand awareness as the business grew. The subsequent evolution of Chaucer’s offering and reach, and their acquisition by China Re, led to their call for another rebrand, executed in 2022. We have since continued to support on the brand implementation side.
Across our relationship, fourfeet has been tasked with developing all conceivable aspects of Chaucer’s marketing communications output. From flagship annual reporting, advertising, and motion graphics, to industry events and conferencing.
Chaucer’s Leadership and Marketing team personnel have seen change over the years, but our relationship has endured. We hope this speaks volumes.
